This do-it-yourself hex nut bracelet is a must as it can be worn causually or dressed up with an assortment of jewelry... not to mention it's very simple to make!
Collect three strands of twine and eighteen hex nut bolts from a local hardware store. Braid the twine. At about an inch of the way down start braiding in the hex nuts. Begin by threading a hex nut on the far left strand before you cross it over the middle strand.
Thread another hex nut on but this time on the far right strand before you cross it over the middle. Make sure the whole time you are keeping the hex nuts tightly braided in the twine so they are not loose when you are finished. Continue this process...thread, cross, thread, cross...left, right, left, right... until all of your hex nuts have been used.
Finish the bracelet with another inch of braided twine and a knot. The bracelet is meant to wrap around your wrist two to three times.
